Comet, Fireworks and Lightning

A tradition in Perth on the 26th of January, Australia Day, is to head down to the river foreshore or the beach at Fremantle, and watch the fireworks. This year, people looking up at the night sky could also make out the tail of the comet McNaught. On the coast near Fremantle, Antti Kemppainen captured a stunning photo of the evening.
