Next Saturday, 7th April, after hiding in their dungeons from the pure soul-cleansing white light of Good Friday, the forces of darkness (in the form of Electric Limosine, Extended Summer Surgery, Druid Lee Roth and DJ Petrosexual) will descend upon the Norfolk Basement in Freo, leaving a trail of mutilated corpse dancing in their wake! Electro? New Wave? Goth Rock? Techno? Booty Bass? Mayhem? Say YES and leave your soul at the coat check!
First band starts at 9. Sick trax before and after. 7 buckos. Door prize! Maybe a couple of door prizes in fact!
A little about these freaks…
Electric Limosine – You know them, you love them, you’ve probably caught an STD from them in the last couple of years. After all, they are the best looking band in Perth, and maybe Adelaide too! From electro-pop to bangin’ techno shit, these person-shaped vessels of talent skate effortlessly across the cracking ice of my existance.
Druid Lee Roth – TV On The Radio meets Liquid Liquid, dark gothy post-punk groovy indie rock shit, these guys are fucking awesome IMO!
Extended Summer Surgery – what the fuck can I say about these maniacs? Somebody said they were like ‘The Presets reinvented as Van Halen’ but I’d say that person was on crack. 80s New Wave reimagined in a severely distorted-reality of disfigured guitar heroics, synthesizer harmonics and banging drum machines! DANCE OF DEATH!
DJ Petrosexual – This guy is not only pretty good looking, he can grow a beard too! Bearded or not, if I was to guess I’d say he’ll play a load of dark, weird, dancey shit. Electro? Italo? Indie? Techno? Rap? Booty Bass? Who knows? Not I. I DO KNOW THIS – HE WILL SHRED!!!
