    hello
i'm currently exploring a macrobiotic diet and am finding it difficult to find a lot of ingredients in the whole food stores. is there anyone out there who can steer me in the direction of a japanese grocery store anywhere in perth. i'm happy to travel to find things like kuzu, daikon, amasake and a good selection of seaweed etc.
thanks in advance for any help :)

    Hi Tracey,

I have been trying out macrobiotic diet as well.

You can buy kuzu from mt lawley wholefoods, (9th avenue , inglewood) or health food shop in subiaco.
That is located inside crossways shopping centre?

Daikon can be found in Asian grocery shop. Although it is slighty hard to find..

Seaweed is availble also from either Japanese grocery shops (one in freo- and also one in subi)
and Asian grocery shops. If you go to normal retail stores, they do sometimes have seaweed but it can be expensive.

    I haven't found amasake yet!

    Hope this helps.
